EPPS'B HOMCEPATHIC COCOA.— Honicepathic Practitioners and the Medical Profession generally, recommend COCOA as 1 being the most healthful of all beverages. When the doctrine of homoepathy was first introduced into England, there were to be obtained no preparations of cocoa either attractive to the taste or acceptable to the stomach : the nut was either supplied in the crude state or so unskilfully manufactured as to obtain little notice. J EPPS, of London, homcepathic chemist, was induced, in the year 1839, to turn his attention to this subject, and at length succeeded, .■ with the . assistauce of glaborate machinery, in being the first to introduce an article pure in its composition, and so refined by the perfect , trituration it receives in the process it passes through, as to be most acceptable to the delicate stomach. BREAKFAST BEVERAGE. For general use, EPPS'S COCOA is distinguished as invigorating, with a grateful smoothness and delicious aroma. Dr Hassall, in his work •' Food and its Adulterations," says : — " Cocoa contains a great variety of important nutritive principles — every ingredient necessary to the growth and sustenance of the body." Again, " As a nutritive, Cocca stands very much higher than either Coffee or Tea." Directions : — Two teaspoonfuls of the powder in a breakfast-cup filled up with boiling water or milk. Tin lined, i lb., § lb., and 1-lb packets. Sold by Grocers, Confectioners, and Chemists. Each packet is labelled J. By Special Appointment. STARCH PURVEYOR TO HEB BOYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS OE WALES. THE best proofs of the greatest superiority oi this Starch are the numerous distinguishing marks of approval which have been accorded to it from all quarters, amongst those may be mentioned the- following, viz. : — It is exclusively used in the Royal Laundry, AND Her Majesty's Laundress says it is the finest Starch she ever used. Honourable mention was awarded at the Great Exhibition in London, in 1851. A Prize Medal was awarded for it at the New York Exhibition in 1853 j and A Prize Medal was also awarded -at the Internatioual Exhibition in London, THE GLENFIELD STARCH Has continued to increase rapidly. The Manufacturers have every confidence in asserting, that if those ladies and laundresses who do not regularly use this Starch would disregard the advice of interested dealers, who are allowed extra profits on inferior articles, and give it a fair trial, they would then feel satisfied with the very superior finish which it imparts to laces, linens, 1 muslins, &c, the great saving of trouble in its application, and the entire absence of disappointment with the results, and would for the future, like THE QUEEN'S LAUNDRESS, USE NO OTHER. To be had of all respectable Grocers, Druggists Oilmen, &c, &c, and wholesale of the Manufacturers, ROBERT WOTHERSPOON & CO., STARCH PURVEYORS : TO Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales, And Manufacturers of WOTHERSPOON'S VICTORIAN LOZENGES Which were awarded A Prize Medal for Purity and Excellence of Quality A the International Exhibition of 1862 6 Dunlop-street, Glasgow ; and 64 Queen-st, i London, E.C. pHEAP PRINTING.— POSTING BILLS.
