It cures diseases of the chest, scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss of appetite. It regenerates the constitution by purifying the blood, and is in a word the most powerful depurative known. It never fatigues the stomach and bowels, like lodide of Potassium and the lodide of Iron, and is administered with the greatest efficacy to young children subject to humours, or obstruction of the glands. Dr. Cazenave of Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, recommends it particularly in diseases of the skin, to be taken with his Pills mentioned above. This Syrup of lodised Horseradish is a capital adjunct to Dr. Leras' Phosphate of Iron. No more Consumption. GRIMAULT'S SYRUP OF HYPOPHOSPHATE OF LIME. The Elixir of Pepsine, sanctioned by the Paris Academy of Medicine, speedily cures all such diseases, and prevents vomiting during pregnancy and wliile out sea- voyaging. No more Poverty oe the Blood and Pale Complexion. DRS. LERAS' PHOSPHATE OF IRON. This new ferruginous medicine contains the elements of the blood and bones, and Iron in a liquid state. It is different from all hitherto offered to the public, is liquid, colourless and tasteless. It speedily cures chlorosis, pains in the stomach, difficult digestion, dysmenorrhcea, anemia, and advantageously supersedes Carbonate of Iron, Iron reduced by Mydroyen, Lactate of Iron the Fills of Fotabsic-tartrate of Iron, and lodide of Iron. The majority of the Academies of Medicine of Paris, recommend the Phosphate of Iron, to Ladies of delicate constitution suffering from anemia, and all other persons fatigued from over anxiety, nervous emotions, overwork, general debility and poorness of blood. It is only preparation which never causes constipation, and can be borne by the most delicate stomachs. It is the best adjunct to the Syrup of lodized Horse-radish and Royal Elixir of Yellow Peruvian Bark. No more Copaiba and Cubebs. GRIMAULT'S CAPSULES AND LIQUID EXTRACT OF MATICO VEGETALIiS. EPPS'"B HOMCEPATHIC COCOA.— Homoepathie Pi actitioners and the Medical Profession generally, recommend COCOA as being the most healthful of all beverages. When the doctrine of homcepathy was first introduced into England, there were to be obtained no preparations of cocoa either attractive to the taste or acceptable to the stomach : the nut was either supplied in the crude stale or so unskilfully manufactured as to obtain little notice. J. EPPS, of London, honicepathic chemist, was induced, in the year 1839, to turn his attention to this subject, and at length succeeded, with the assistauce of elaborate machinery, in being the first to introduce an article pure in its composition, and so rciined by the perfect ti-ituration it receives in the process it passes through, as to be most acceptable to the delicate stomach. BREAKFAST BEVERAGE. For general use, EPPS'S COCOA is distinguished as invigorating, with a grateful smoothnests and delicious aroma. Dr Hassall, in his work '' Food and its Adulterations," says -. — " Cocoa contains a great variety of important nutritive principles — every ingredient necessary to the growth and sustenance of the body." Again, " As a nutritive, Oocca stands very much higher than cither Coffee or Tea." Directions : — Two teaspoonfuls of the powder in a breakfast-cup filled up with boiling water or milk. IyXIKAOKDJNARY CURE OF A COUGH. Hi The following lcttur lias been addressed to Mr Powell by William Boards, Esq., an extensive Agriculturist and Land Agent, residing at Edmonton, Middlesex : — Nightingale Hall, Edmonton. ' ' Dear Sir, — 1 have recently suffered much from a most violent cough, proceeding from a tickling in my chest, which no remedy, out of many I resorted to, could allay. My head was constantly aching, and my whole frame entirely shaken. Having seen the good effects of your Balsam of Aniseed iv several members of my family, I purchased a small bottle, and when going to bed at night took a teaspoonful in two table -spoonfuls of water just warm. The eiiect Was immediate ; it arrested the tickling in my chest, I slept well, and arose perfectly restored in the morning, with the exception of debility, arising from fatigue by incessant coughing for some days previous. My cough entirely left me, and has never returned. Having since heard of a lady in the neighborhood who for a leng time had labored under a most distressing cough, and who had resorted to every remedy within her knowledge, I sent the remainder of the bottle to her ; and that " iong-standing obstinate, and (as she; thought) incuiable cough, was perfectly cured. You are at' perfect liberty to makie what use you may please of this communicWibii'as the conteut6 are strictly true. 1 shall .take every opportunity of reegmmending your 'iii<;stirnabie medicine, feeling, ,ag i do, iullv . rts^tted of its efficacy. .. f ..■^i-" I am, dear Sir, yoUs a yery. truly, ■""•■'■ x WS£.
