CANADA.
Considerable excitement prevails on the subject of the threatened Fenian invasion. The militia has been enrolled ; and the call for volunteers has been enthusiastically responded to. The belief is gaining ground that all the Fenian bluster will end in smoke, although it is stated that fifty vessels of war and privateers are to be equipped, carrying 300 guns, to seize the Cunard steamers and others.
