The Wm. Misken arrived here from Dunedin on Sunday Morning, and is anchored at the heads being unable to enter New River owing to the heavy sea on the bar. The Alhambra, s.s., Captain M'Lean, left Melbourne on Monday, the 30th ult,; experienced fine weather, with hght south-east winds ; arrived here at midnight on the sth inst., and. was brought up the Harbor to the wharf by the pilot (Mr / Longford). Discharged her cargo, and sailed for Dunedin at 2 p.m. to-day. Captain M'Lean reports that the Albion passed the Rangitoto off Wilson's Promontory, and arrived at the Hobson's Bay Railway wharf, one hour before her, thus making the passage to Melbourne in thirteen and a half hours less than the Rangitoto, dating from the Bluff. The Kate, ketch, and the Marion Rennie, schooner, has put back on account of the weather.
