That portion of the Province of Southland bounded on the North by a line running due east and west (true bearing), in transit with the south point of the New River; on the South and Sonth-west by the ocean ; 'on the North- , west by the New River Estuary ; on the * East by a line running due north and South (true bearing) through the southernmost point of the Seaward Bush INVERCARGILL 7 HUNDRED. That portion of the said Province bounded on the North by the Makarewa River • on the Soiith by a lihe running due east and west (true bearing) in transit with the south -point of the New. River, till it cuts the western boundary of the Oteramika Hundrejl ; on the West by the Makarewa arid the New River;. on the North-east by- a, line bearing 140° 15' 00"/ (on the true meridian) from the Makarewa to the north-west corner of Section 12, Block . VI, Invercargill Hundred ; thence by a line running due south (true bearing) to Section No. 26, TBlock 3, - Oteramika Hundred; thence by aline bearing 2l6"? 00' .00" (on the true meridian) till it cuts the south boundary aforesaid. NEW RIVER HUNDRED. That portion of the said Province bounded on the North by a line 1 running due east and west (true bearing),,, in transit with the top of Forest Hill to the Waimatuku Stream ; on the Soiith an^: South-west by the New River Estuary and the ocean; on the East by a line running due south (true bearing), from Foresst Hill to the Makarewa ; and- on the South-east and East by the Makarewa and New River ; on the West by the Waimatuku Stream. JACOB'S RIVER HUNDRED. That portion of the said Province bounded on . the North by the northern boundary_of Block VIII., Jacob's River Hundred, and a line running due west (true bearing), in continuation thereof; on the North-east by a stream running into the Aparima River to the northward of the Yellow Bluff; on~the-East-f ward and part North by the Wamatuku Moss, and thence by the Waimatuku . Stream to the ocean ; on the West by a line runniug due north and south (true bearing) in transit with the top of Ferrtdunlaw; and on the SOuth-west by the Aparima River, from the. northern boundary of Block 7V111., to the 1 stream to the northward of the TYellow ßluff, y OTERAMIKA HUNDRED. . That portion of the said Province bounded ouj the North by a line running due east and west (true bearing), from the Invercargill Hundred to the Mataura River, being 664 links north of Trig.
