That portion of the said Province bounded on the North by the Makarewa River • on the Soiith by a lihe running due east and west (true bearing) in transit with the south -point of the New. River, till it cuts the western boundary of the Oteramika Hundrejl ; on the West by the Makarewa arid the New River;. on the North-east by- a, line bearing 140° 15' 00"/ (on the true meridian) from the Makarewa to the north-west corner of Section 12, Block . VI, Invercargill Hundred ; thence by a line running due south (true bearing) to Section No. 26, TBlock 3, - Oteramika Hundred; thence by aline bearing 2l6"? 00' .00" (on the true meridian) till it cuts the south boundary aforesaid.
