Hau-haus threaten Poverty Bay and Wairora. Sir George Grey, brig, wreckec at Tahiti, with 700 tons flour. 3rd May. Mining news from Hokitika continues very satisfactory, especially froih Okarita and Totara. Greymouth will soon be connected by telegraph with Hokitika. The South Australian and Star ofjthe Evening have sailed for Melbourne* the Susannah Booth for Sydney ; the Wonga Wonga for Nelson. Business continues brisk.
