Robert. Reid was fingd 205., or 48 hours' imprisonment, for drunkenness. Archibald McDonald was brought up in cuatody of Constable Blakely, of the Nokomai, on a warrant issued by the Resident Magistrate at Bivertoc, charged ..•■■•'•■■■'".;■ ■ . . / ■ ' - ■'
with having, on the 16th ult., committed a violent assault on one John Russell at Riverton. On the application of the Commissioner of Police the prisoner was remanded to Riverton. There were no civil cases before the court yesterday.
