DEATHS.
Retkoids. — On the Ist February, 1866, at his residence, 3 Booterstown-avenue, County Dublin, James Reynolds, M.D., aged 65 years. Our obituary notice records the death of Dr Reynolds, of Booterstown, an old and skilful practitioner, thoroughly respected and venerated in his neighborhood, and regretted by a large circle of admiring friends. Not only was he an able medical - man, but he contributed extensively to our periodical literature even to within a few days of his death, and had written severaj novels, which were pur© in style and excellent in their moral tendency. He had also produced some dramas, which were highly successful. He was a charming companion, a genial and generous friend, and a most bene.olent man. 'The gifted and skilful young gentleman, Dr Emerson Reynolds, who has distinguished himself in the scientific branches of his profession, especially chemistry and chemical analysis, is the son of the amiable gentleman whose death we now record with unfeigned sorrow and the utmost respect for his memory. — Sawder's News Letter, 3rd Feb. Wyatt. — On the 24th January last, at 43 Norland Square, Notting Hall, London, Mary, the beloved wife of Edwin Wyatt, Esq., of Bryn, Tivion Hall, North Wales, eldest daughter of the late Admiral John M'Kellar, and sister to Mra Thos. I. White, Invercargill.
