ARRIVAL OF THE "BOMBAY" WITH THE FEBRUARY MAILS.

— ♦ By the South Australian, which arrived at the Bluff yesterday morning, we have Melbourne papers to the 13th April. The Bombay had arrived with the February mails from Europe. The New Zealand parcels were shipped on board the Auckland early on the morning of the 14th inst. This vessel has not yet arrived, although she left Hobson's Bay six hours before the South Australian. We are, consequently, without our usual files of English papers, therefore extract from the J'ge' and Argus. The mail may be expected hourly. The following is -a summary compiled'from the above-named papers. [Since writing the above, the Auckland has been telegraphed as in sight] : — ' ■ (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.) Adelaide, 12th April. Sound occupied ninety-one and a half hours ; return do, "ninety- three hours. The Ellora ran from Melbourne to the Sound in 137 hours. The steamer Bombay arrived in the Sound al eleven p:m. on the 7th inst. She left Galle at thirty minutes past seven p.m. on the 24th March ; experienced fine weather ; made the run from the Sound to Gralle in twelve days six hours. Captain C. Burne, commander ; Captain Gosse in charge of the mails j A.- Bailes, purser. There was a rumor of Governor Darling's recall. The Mooltan steamer conveyed Lord Napier to Galle, en route to assume the Governorship of the Madras Presidency, relieving Sir Wm. Denison. While on j board he stated that Sir Charles Darling j was to be recalled. The latest English papers do not now discuss Victorian difficulties. It is rumored that it is not improbable that Sir Wm. Denison goes to Melbourne. •
