IT is hereby notified that, under the provisions of Clause 16 of " The Southland Waste Land Act, 1865," I have temporarily reserved the Lands hereinafter described for the use of the Provincial Government : — All that parcel of land, bounded on the north by an east and west line in transit with the top of Ferndunlaw Hill; on the east { by Block Nos. I. and Hl.,Aparima Hundred, and Block Nos. VIII., XIIL, V., 111, I, and XVII., Jacob s Eiver Hundred ; on the south and south-west by the ocean, and on the north-west by the Waiau Eiver. All those pieces of land in the Hokanui District, marked on the Selection Map in the Chief Surveyor's office, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and A\ 81,B 1 , C\ D l , Dd 1 , F, containing by admeasurement 15,265 acres.
