The Hall will be open at 7 A.M., and all Exhibition or Competition Articles require to be staged by 11 on the morning of the Show. 2. All Competitors must be Members of the Society. 3. All Plants, Flowers, &c, &c. (Bouquets excepted), sent for Competition must be accom- . panied by a letter addressed to the Secretary (with a correct List of the Names), with the Competitor's own as well as his employer's address, " stating "that the accompanying articles were grown by him at (naming the place), and have been under his care for the last two weeks." Competitors are requested to put the number of the prize for which they compete on the back of their letter, and also the class in which they compete. 4. Dealers shall not be allowed to compete for any prizes, except those specially offered to Nurserymen, or " open to all." 5. All Plants, &c, &c, sent for Competition, must be correctly named, as far as known. 6. None of the prizes offered will be awarded unless the productions are deemed worthy by the Judgeß. 7. All Articles must remain till the Committee allow them to be removed, and the Society . cannot be responsible for the safety of any articles unless specially given them in charge, but particular care will be taken of every article. 8. All undue dressing. of Competition Subjects will be disqualified. 9. Growers are invited to contribute to the ■Society's Exhibitions such productions, not specially mentioned in the Prize List, as are likely to prove of interest, and especially new, recently introduced, or imperfectly known varieties of Fruits, Flowers, Vegetables, Coniferse, &c. The Society does not pledge itself to vote awards for such extra productions, wliich will be placed on the tables for exhibition only ; but in case where meritorious productions are brought forward, the Committee have power to grant an extra award. 10. The Exhibition of novelties and improvements in Garden Implements and Apparatus is also invited. Seedsmen and Nurserymen, as well _• as the Manufacturers of such articles, are invited to contribute to this department of the Exhibition. No money awards- will be given unless in any special case the Committee see reason to depart from this general rule. 11. Parties wishing to become Members or Subscribers can do so on application to the Secretary or Office Bearers of the Society. 12.
