Telegraphic Agency. NEW ZEALAND GENERA TELEGRAPHIC AGENCY. The position which Campbelltown (Bluff Hao bor) occupies as the first port of arrival and lai of departure for the steamers carrying H< Majesty's English and Australian Mails, as we as its growing importance as a port of call fc sailing vessels of large tonnage, and the fact; the it is the southern terminus of the New Zealani Telegraph System, and of the Railways alread initiated in Southland, which eventually will ta verse the whole of the Middle Island, has induce us to establish at this point a GENERAL TELE GRAPH AGENCY. The objects we have in view are threefold :— JYVstty.— Receiving and transacting all Mci cantile Business in which the telegraphi wire may be called into requisition. Secondly. — Supplying the Press throughoti New Zealand with the latest English an Australasian Intelligence, including th state of Markets, Shipping, and Geners News from all parts of the Colonies. Thirdly— Transacting Telegraphic Busines of a miscellaneous character for th public at large. The marked success which has attended lik ondertakings, both in Europe and the Colonie when conducted with energy and intelligence, an< the long experience of the projectors in mercantil business, and their thorough knowledge of th dusgs of a Press Correspondent, combined with i determination to devote their whole attention to the Agency, emboldens them to solicit publi patronage. A wide-spread system of Telegraphic Agenciei has been formed throughout the whole of thi Australian Colonies, in connection with thi "NEW ZEALAND GENERAL TELE GRAPHIC AGENCY."
