THE Provincial Government are prepared to to receive SEALED TENDENS for the COMPLETION of the BLUFF HARBOR and INVERCARGILL RAILWAY, under the following conditions : — Payment to be made, on the completion of the Works, in LAND, at the rate of ONE ACRE far every POUND STERLING. On the acceptance of any tender, a Block o Land, representing the amount of this tender, at the rate of One Acre for every Pound Sterling, may be selected by the Contractor, subject to the provisions of the " Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," which block will be reserved for the satisfaction of the contract, and a Crown Grant for the land will be given on the Engineer's certificate of final completion. The Specifications and Drawings will be open for inspection at the Offices of the Railway Engineer, Invercargill, on and after January Ist, 1866 ; and Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of his Honor the Superintendent till noon of January 15, 1866.
