THE Provincial Government are prepared to to receive TENDENS for the COMPLETION of the BLUFF HARBOR and INVERCARGILL RAILWAY, under the foUowing conditions : — Payment to be made, on the completion of the Works, in LAND, afc the rate of ONE ACRE for every POUND STERLING. On the acceptance of any tender, a Block of Land, representing the amount of this tender, at the rate of One Acre for every Pound Sterling, may be selected by the Contractor, subject to the provisions of the " Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," which block wfll be reseryedfor the satisfaction of the contract, and a Crown Grant for the land wfll be given on the Engineer's certificate of final completion.
