William Baker, charged with stealing, at Weatherstones, notes and a small nugget, tfce property of John Elliot, was found not guilty, and wa* discharged. There was a smilar result in the case of Edward Baker, who .was charged with stealing a saddle and bridle, the property of John Prosser. ' A. bill against Brewer for horse stealing, was thrown-out by the Grand Jury. John Andrews, was found; guilty of stealing a . silver watch- and -chain, ancV was sentenced to •.three- months' hard labor.' ' -
