John Jervis was charged with disobeying lawful commands on board the ship .Escape, on the 3rd inst. It appeared from the evidence that the prisoner, who was cook on board the above vessel, to prepare breakfast, and used most abusive' and insulting language towards the master. He was sentenced, to one mouth's imprisonment, with hard lapor. James Paterson was charged with provoking a breach of the peace in Dee-street, on the 4th inst. He was fined ZOa. Civil Cases, paterson v. lind. Claim for wages, £70. Verdict for plaintiff, with costs. . MO NEMAN" T. SUPERINTEND BUT, Judgm. Nt confessed. TAYLOR V. SUPERINTENDENT. Judgment confessed.
