The paily Times, in summarising 'the month's business, reports as follows : — -•' - ■-.- - "Business; during, the pasfc, month, 'has- .been moderately good, notwithstanding that the unsettled j state of the weather has prevented country .traders from as yet laying in spring stocks to any great extent. The yield of the precious metal shows the improvement which the genial weather induces in allowing more extended '.operations on the part of the digging community.
