M. gaol at In* Vereargill for month ending 16th November, 1864* Sentenced to hard labor, 13 males, 3 females j penal servitude, 5 males j imprisonment; only, % males $ debtors, 4 ; lunatic's, 7 ; on remand (Resident Magistrate's Court) 1 1 total, 33 malet, 3 females. Received during the month, 14 males, 4 females ; discharged during the month, 18 males, 1 female. Of the 18 -received during tha month, 2 vrere for drunkenness, 1 for obtauiiag goods under falae pretences, 1 for Trilftuly d«« stroying proparty, 2 for vagrancy, 2 for breach of vagrant Ordinance, 1 for obscene language, 8 fot violent assault, 1 foj* criminal assault^ 1 for lwr» cany, 2 for debt, and 3 lunatics, under uedictl treatment. .
