I should be altogether opposed to municipal affairs being placed in the hands of the Provincial Government. I will not pledge myself to vote for any particular, person as Superintendent, but will wait until I know who are the candidates ; but should certainly vote for the one whom I considered best fitted to fill the office and promote the interests of the Province.
