THE GENERAL ELECTIONS.
The following 1 nominations take place this day, Mondiy, 7th Nov. :— 1. District of Campbelltown. — At the Court-House, Campbell town, at noon. Two candidates ai*e in the field for the representation of this district, viz., Messrs. A. M'Nab, and C. H. Reynolds. To-morrow is appointed for the poll. 2. Oteramika District. — At the Police Station, Daere, at noon. M. Holmes, Ksq., is the only candidate in the field. No opposition is anticipated. 3. Eiverton District. — At the CourtHouse, liivcrton. Two ea-udidixtes are announced for the two seats- — J. Orera-r, Esq., and Dl 1 . lioclu[kinson. The poll, if necessary, will be taken to-morrow. ..- ■-■' Mr. Htmrt met the electors of the Waikivi District on the evening of Friday last. A report of the proceedings will be found elsewhere. There are signs of an opposition to his return, but it is not considered strong enough to have any chance of success.
