TtTESD at, 25th October, 1864 (Before H. M'CiMoch; Esq., KM.) . Assault. — Wm. Cavanagh ■ was brought up for this offence, on the person of. H. Smith, the sexton of the Cemetery, on the Dunedin Road, on the evening of Saturday last. H. Smith,. the prosecutor, gave evidence as to the nature of the assault. ;. — Dr. Young then gave ; evidence respecting .the nature of the injuries inflicted. .
