A detective has been sent to KingGeorge's Sound in the Eangatira, with instructions to arrest JFischel, the absconding manager of the Mont de Piete, Melbourne, who, it is believed, sailed from Melbourne in the R.M.S. Northam. Hart'B and Margarey's flour was sold to-day at £25, and Dunn's at £24 10s. per ton. Wheat sales were made at 10s. 4d. It is apprehended in the north that great difficulty will be experienced in bringing down wool, in consequence of the disease amongst the cattle. Many are dying daily.
