BOAT ACCIDENT.
-...-.. THREE MEN DROWNED. (ysoM oxra cwjt oobeespohijext.) , BiiTTTP, Monday morning. On the morning of Saturday last, the Gropcr, a boat belonging to Mr. -Everingham, put. out to aea from the beach known as the "The Neck." There were three_men in her at the time, named Thomas IVevarfchen, Brown, and Wilson. Yesterday (Sunday) the boat was found amongst the rocks, bottom upwards. Some articles of clothing have been discovered and identified as belonging to one of the men. The bodies of the unfortunate men, however, have not as yet been found— but as Mr. Everinghani is' searching the beach, it is probable they will be discovered to-day. Prom the position- of the boat, and the fact that a portion of their clothes has been found, it is supposed- that the men had succeeded in getting on the boat's bottom, and that they were disen- | cumbering themselves of their clothes to enable them the better to get on shore, or swim more easily, but that they were washed off by the heavy »urf rolung in at the time.
