These comprised the following articles -. — Model of a railway carriage, samples of coal, silver trowel, two models of vessels, model .of iron »wing plough,' several Provincial made saddles, and sets of cart harness, oil paintings, cordials; samples of prepared native flax, table of inlaid woods, samples of ale and porter (in bottle), and shooting boots. This list of exhibits the secretary reported had been promised him after a two days' canvas, and he was very sanguine that a great augmentation would be made°in a week's time. At that same meeting the various gentlemen to whom were confided the management of special departments, reported further that the Province would be represented in wool, manufactured flax, machinery, agricultural implements, grains of all sorts, specimens of native timbers, samples of coal, limestone, Blate, &c. From the Provincial Government will be sent various maps of the Province as prepared in the Government offices, and other exhibits.
