NOTICE is hereby given that an appieation has been made by GEORGE BOYD and JOSEPH GREAVES OSBORNE, in accordance with the "Patent Act, I860,", for the issue to them of "Letters Patent," granting to them exclusive right to prepare Powdered Scoria Stone, and Powdered Scoria Ash,' for the' purposes of being used to compound' Mortar, Cement, and Plaster, and in the manufacture of Bricks, Tiles, Drainpipes' Sanitary ware, and other ceramic productions. And any person or persons who may wish to prefer any objection to the granting of such "Letters Patent" are hereby required to send, within four months from the publication hereof, to CHARLES^ KNIGHT, of Auckland, Esq., M.D., being the person, appointed for that purpose, under the provisions of the said Act, a statement in writing, setting forth the grounds of such objection — subscribed with his or their proper name and addresß.
