The Custom-House boots to-day were closed at 12 o'clock,' which will account for the small revenue »hown. The remainder, of the revenue for the day will appear in next months' returns. We have no change to report in quotations.' The firm tone prevailing in the Australian flour markets, at the date of our last advices, may tend to prevent in some measure, any further decline m price of thatrarticle at present. The fine weather still continues, and is having the effect of giving a great impetus to agricultural matters. The roads in the interior are more favorable for traffic than they have been for some months past. The opening of the Northern or Oreti line of Railway is looked forward to with much interest by everyone, as it is expected that it will give a great impulse to trade with the interior, in addition to the advantages it will confer on settlers along the whole line. The opening day is for the present fixed for Ist October, by which time the whole line will be in a perfectly complete state for the purposes of passenger and goods traffic.
