Gothenburg, Aldinga, and Al: hambra call regularly at the Bktjff', whicli is . distant from loivn 20 mites. From Invercargill' the Nori7i Road is ■followed, beginning 'at Deestreet. AAb out four and a half miles from town the road turns to the left, and from thence to the foot of the Lake the main line of road should be kept. By tliis route .tlie distance is only 92 miles from Invercargill,. I7ie road perj'tAily level, and there are accommodation 7iouse, all t'/ieway. ... . : ..-.- : A..AA ':V> From Duri rid/in "via Kingston. (fpol. of tlie Lalce), tlie div lance is ■- 220 mile&; Mhi'Hlie Dnuslan, 150 miles. Tins latter road* is mountainous to a degree.
