Files to the 13th are to hand. The Herald says : — " The flour market is very much depressed aud unsettled, iate arrivals from Valparaiso and California having induced holders to push sales. In the present state of the market correct quotations are almost impossible, there being no buyers for speculate n, and the sales that are made to the trade and storekeepers are very small. The millers hi ye reduced their quotations £2 per ton. They now quote fine fiom* at £2-1, and seconds £22* per ton. Adelaide is quoted by the agents at £23 to £25 per ton ; and sales have been made at £24 per toa. Wheat has also declined in price • Adelaide has been sold to-day at 10s. per bushel."
