Southland Times Office, Friday Evening. The revonuc collected at the Custom-House for the past two days, for articles cleared for home consumption, is as follows : — Yesterday, £69 16s. 7d. ; to-day, £89 18s. lid. ; together, £159 15s. 6d., heing duties levied as follows : — Brandy, 28 gallons £12 12 0 Wine, 86 „ 12 3 0 Geneva, 97-J „ '13 14 2 Whisky, 37 „ 16 13 0 Rum, 31 „ 13 19 0 Ale in wood, „ 5 0 0 Drapery 52 14 4 Sundries 3 0 0 £159 15 6 Wo have little change to report in quotations during the week. Trade still remains very dull and quiet. The flour market is unsettled, but we cannot alter our last quotations. Some parcels of inferior flour have been disposed of at from £30 to £32. There are no samples of best Adelaide in the market. The Scotia's flour, we believe has been in some instances mixed with other samples, which may, in some degree, account for the low prices of so-called " best Adelaide," and for the inferior quality of bread which has been been sold in town for some time past. Messrs. Eobcrtson and Co. held a sale, by auction, of miscellaiieeus goods to-day, at the premises of Mr. Alex. Sayers, commission, agent, Esk-street. The following are few of the prices realised : — Cork butter, old, 5 |d. ; lobsters, Bs.; apples, 15s. per case; clay pipes, 2s. 6d. a gross ; India pale ale, Bs. 6d. ; American stoves [at £3 10s. and upwards, and a lot of drapery goods and other, articles at fair prices.
