DUNEDIN COMMERCIAL.
The Otago Daily Times of 30th ult/ reports of previous day's markets as follows : — " There is a little more activity apparent in our market today. Flour. — Sales continue to be made in small lots at £35, and a small parcel (20 tons) of Adelaide, was sold at the auction rooms of Messrs. A. G. Fisher and Co., at £29. Bacon and Hams. — -Two old shipments placed, but prices have not transpired — supposed to be moderate. Butter. — D. E. Cork, prime samples more inquired for ; and 10i-d to lid. can now be obtained. Geneva, JDKZ, of small contents, in limited supply, and worth 12s. 6d. to 13s. Building- Materials of all kinds still much depressed, and sales almost impossible to make, except at prices which must entail a heavy loss to importers."
