MELBOURNE COMMERCIAL.
By the arrival of the City of Hobart we are put in possession of Melbourne papers to the 26th July. The Argus of that date says of the previous day's niai'kets : — '• Bxisiness in the import markets was very dull to-day. Preparations for the departure of the mail, of course, absorbed the attention of the mercantile community. The flour market is very depressed. No transactions fell to be reported. A'sale by auction at Messrs. Grcig and Murray's auction rooms to-morrow will show the feeling of the trade."
