Captain Davby reports having experienced fine weather for the first two days, then he encountered strong north-easterly gales till lie made the Solanders. Arrrived at the Bluff at 8 a.m. on the Ist (yesterday) . "We are indebted to Captain Darby for a file of Melbourne papers. The favorite coasting steamer Titania is at present undergoing extensive alterations and overhaul at Dunedin, with a view to the improvement of her passenger accommodation and general fitness for her usual trade. The erection of the Light-house Tower on Tivitivi Island will be commenced very shortly.
