These are now hopes of a new Executive being speedily formed. In the Council, last night, Mr.. Pearson stated to the House that he had been "sent for" by His Honor the Superintendent, and that he had waited on him accordingly. • He was not prepared, however, to state definitely to the House the result of the interview ; but he was understood to say, that a foil explanation would be made at this evening's sitting. It is rumored that the gentlemen whom Mr. Peabson has advised the Superintendent to invite as his colleagues in the new Ministry are Messrs. Rogeks, Hab-^ vet, and Chalmers — the last-named of these gentlemen to hold the appointment of Provincial Treasurer.
