Tho " Pat tho Rover" is now daily expected from Adelaide with a cargo of flour for this market, and three or four days after her arrival, we should nofc be surprised to see best Adelaide quoted at £34 or even 533. Tho principal purchase at auction during the week has been that of the Scotia by a company of merchants hero, for tho sum of £290. Great efforts will be made by them to iloat tho vessel ofT, aud if this can be accomplished at even a considerable cost, their venturo will turn out a lucrative ono. Tho two vessels expected from Melbourne havo not, as yet, made their appearance. A brig lias been telegraphed at the Heads, but this does not answer the description of the crafts looked for, the Union being a barque, and the Leonidas a schooner. Wo quote present prices as follows : — Flour. — Besfc Adelaide, £37; other brands, £34 to £35. Potatoes. — £10 per ton. Oatmeal. — £1 09. per cwt. Butter (new D.R.C). — l£d- por lb.
