Thb Oscar sailed from Port Chalmers on 28th; experienced -light baffling winds and calms on the passage. Anchored last night in the Straits ;' arrived < here this morning. Captain Lowden, chief pilot of Otago, is in charge of the ship as coasting pilot. She was brought up to the to discharge cargo to-morrow.
