She brings a quantity of ironwork for the Christchurch "Railway. Thb Swedish barque Oscar sailed in tho forenoon, bound for the Bluff, where she is chartered to discharge several hundred tons of railway iron and other heavy material. Captain Lowden, chief- pilot, proceeded with her as pilot as far as the Bluff. The next vessol to the same port is Bilesia,.all with railway plant. The barque Malay, "s-hich sailed . in tho * afternoon, is chartered for another trip from Newcastle to this port. — Otago Daily Times. The water-tank Father Thames, which has for the past twelve months supplied water to shipping bo£h afc Bluff Harbor and at this port, is about to be despatched by her owners to Auckland, where she will, no doubt* be found of considerable service in enabling stock-vessels and others to obtain ready and abundant supply of fresh wator for ship purposes- — Ibid..
