The names of the particular steamers abovementioned cannot always be relied upon, as tlie respective companies may substitute any of the authorised steamers. It will, be observed f hat passengers from Napier by the steamer of the Gth. and from Manukau and other ports by steamer of the Sth, can proceed to Melbourne from Otago b\' the English mail steamer on the 18th. " ,-gs Passengers by steamer of loth from Sydfray to Auckland can proceed South, via East CoaSt, on the 23rd. Passengers by steamer of 25th from Sydiiey to Nelson cau proceed either North or South from Nelson on the 2nd. Passengers by steamer of 2nd from Bluff and other ports to Nelson can proceed to Sydney from Nelaon on the 2nd. Passengers by steamer of 10th from Melbourne to Otago can proceed North on 20th via East Coast, or on 25th via Nelson to Manukau. Passengers by steamor of 20th from Otago to Auckland via East Coast can proceed from Auckland to Sydney on the lst. Tlio steamers via East Coast, North and South, meet at Napier. Those leaving and arriving at Manukau meet at Nelson. The East Coast Bteamers coming North meet, tho West Coast steamers going South at Wolliiigton, and vica versa.
