__ «> T--The s.s. Omco, sailed from Port Chalmers on the 3rd, and experienced-light winds during tbo passage ; arrived at the Blutfat 4 p.m., on the 4th inst. ; received on board 45 passengers, including tho stewardess, and three stewards of the ill-fated steamship Scotia, and sailed for Melbourne at 4 p.m. this morning. Captain Edwards reports tho s.s. Gothenburg was going into Port Chalmers when he left. The Scotia is still in the same position, and all that remains of that fine vessel is the hull and masts and standing rigging ; everything that can bo taken is now being removed. The capt.uu and agent have exerted themselvt s in a very praiseworthy manner, every available vessel in the harbor being employed in removing cargo ; the work is carried on night and day without intermission.
