ORIGINAL POETRY.
A O-ROAIS* FKO3I A POOR BULLOCK. Oh! why am I- a bullock, " And not a quiet cow ? v I could then be quietly grazing, Instead of working now. Toiling hard the leo-Jlang day Below a lisavy yoke, Sweating, toiling, dragging on, Uatil the day I " croak." That bullock driver, cruel man, '„ In 3um there is no feeling j He whips and punches my sore hide, When he with grog is reeling. I'll leave ray bones to lie and bleach, Upon some grassy hillock, — £g mark tho spot where once tUfjy fell •A poor degraded bullock.
