Have been favored with instructions by Mr William Livesey, who is compelled, by private affairs, to leave the colony for England, to submit to pub. lie competition, THE ABOVE-NAMED VALUABLE FREEHOLD PROPERTY, j The Prince of Wa!e3 Hotel is situate in D.*estreet, luvercargill, in the most central part of this rapid ly-r ising town, and on the direct road for tbe Lake Wakatip, Nokomai, and all tho other SOUTHLAND BORDER GOLDFIELDS. This hotel has also a very extensive con^, nection among the principal squatters, country setters, and merchants ofthe Peovince, and is admitted to be the leading hotel in Invercargill. The premises stand upon a most eligible section, within a short distance of the General and Provincial Government Offices, and have a frontage of 6'Oft. to Dee sti eet. There is also a right-of-way, 18ft. wide, connecting Dee street with tbe Esplanade and Railway terminus. The hotel is two stories high, with verandah and balcony, the whole length of the building in front and on two sides, with entrance to the balcony from the upper floor i?On the ground floor are — spacious dining hall, 50ft, x 20ffc., 12ft. high; elegantly decorated, and fitted with chandeliers, &c. ; a smoking, chess, and conversation room, 20 x 20, furnished with couches and every other requisite ; two private rooms, one bar parlor, a private bar, and a large and handsomely fitted public bar at the corner. On the upper floor, there are four privafco sitting-rooms, with bedrooms attached, * to suit families. There are also 47 bed- • rooms and a bathroom. THE BILLIARD ROOM Is 28l't. x 24ft., 27ft. high, with a large ventilating skylight, and is fitted up in a style equal to any billiard-room in the colonies. The table is one of Thurs- @ ' ton's best make. The kitchen and servants', appartments occupy v space of 50ffc. x 20ft. There are alao pantries, a storeroom, spirit and beer cellars, and every other requsite for a first-class hotel. THE STABLES Are extensive and lofty, and have beon built upon the most approved principle. A HORSE AND CATTLE SALE YARD Has been put up in the rear of the stables also, a poultry-yard ; and there is a very large stock of oaten hay, which can be taken at valuation or not, afc the option of the purchaser. Next door to the hotel are the auction mart - and sale yards of Messrs Carey and Gilles, stock and station salesmen.
