The schooner Coml Queen which sailed on Thursday lust returned to port on Saturday evening, <'aptain Tniyte having put back in consequence of a serious accident to the mate. It appears that the crew were engaged stowing tbe anchors and had r:-i ei one of them on end for the purpose of removing the stock when the schooner gave a plunge whigW bad the effect ot throwing the chief officer down upon the bilts and the anchor being likewise jerked forward the shank of it fell upon his head, crushing his jaws in a frigMful manner between it and the bitts.
