Entrance, &c, same as Invercargill Cup. FORCED HANDICAP. A Sweepstakes of £5 each, with 40 soys. added. Post entries. For all winners during the present meeting (exclusive of winners of Trotting Race and Maiden Plate, Distance, one mile and a half. CONSOLATION BTAKEB A Handicap of 50 soys For all beaten horses Entrance, 3 soys added. Post entries. Once round the course. Secondhorse to take sweep. HACK EACE Of soys., with a Sweepstakes of 2 soys. added. Post entry; catch weights. Once round the course ; htats. The winner to be sold for £30, the surplus to go to the Race Fund. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition -«- that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final. 2. No person will be allowed to enter or run a horse unless the latter be qualified as the bonafide property of a subscriber of three soys to the Race Fund, except back races. 3. AH entries to be sealed and addressed to the Stewards, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the riders. No jockey allowed to ride except in the colors entered. 4. Entries must be made at the Union Hotel, Tay street, on the evening of Wednesday, 9th February, at 8 o'clock. 5. Mares and geldings allowed 31b in all weight for age races. 6. Three horses to enter for each race, or no public money will be added. 7. In case of bnd weather, the Stewards reserve to themselves the right of postponing the races from time to time, as may appear advisable. 8. AH dogs found on the course will be destroyed by strychnine or otherwise, without respect of ownership. 9. The races will begin punctually each day at half-past one o'clock. ALEXANDER SAVERS, fion.
