About four and a half , miles from town the road turns to theieft, and thence to Wintonßwh the dray track should be kept, the* the Survey Line to the RivetOreti, andjrom, thence the dray track should be kept lo thejoot of the Lake. If the Orcii is high the east bank can be kept all the way. Tliere is a track leading back from the accommodation house on Roger's station, which saves fording twice. By this route the distance is only 92 miles from Invercargttl, the road perfectly levef, and there are accommodation hottses all the way.
