THE- Government of Southland having issued instructions to the Home Agents to lay on vessels from -Great Britain, direct for the Bluff, with immigrants, the attention of parties interested in the Province is directed to the following Section of^ Instructions to Immigration Agents— namely, " Persons residing in the Province of Southland, desirous of assisting their friends to immigrate to tbe Province, may obtain for them assisted passages dither, W pre-paying one-third of the passage money, and accepting a Bill for the remainingHwo-thvrds, drawn by the Provincial Treasurer, and' endorsed by a substantial householder, residing in the Province, and approved of by the Superintendent as sufficient security Tor the same. THE Public is desired. to take notice that no permission can be granted by tbe Waste Land Board to occupy Waste Lands of the Crown in terms of subjoined Resolution of the Board, of date 13th inst.
