THE Government of Southland having issued instructions to the Home Agents to lay on vessels from Great Britain, direct for the Bluff, with immigrants, tbe attention <&f parties interested in the Province is directed to the following Section of Instructions to Immigration Agents— namely, " Persons residing in the Province of Southland, desirous of assisting their • friends to immigrate to the Province, may obtain for them assisted passages Irrther, by pre-paying one-third of tive passage money, and accepting a Bill for the remaining tw.o-thirds. drawn by the-'l'rovincial Treasurer, and endorsed by a substantial householder, residing in the Province, and approved of by the Superiuten<lent_ as sufficient security for the same. " In the event of parties not availing themselves of such assisted passages within twelve months, their certificates may he -cancelled, and the prepaid amount returned to the Applicants."
