NOTIC F: is Hereby Given that I, Joseph Rogers, of Glenquoieh Station, did, on the 22ad June last, cease to have any connection with an accommodation -house situated on my run, and th >t I am in no way responsible for any debts which a certain Willia n Turner may have contracted since that riate, nor for any which he may hereafter contract, JOSEPH ROGERS. 3rd October, 1863. TO THE PRESBYTERIANS OF TEE L'IiOVISCE OF SOUTHLAND. IT is notor'ons that whilst our population has been increasing with astonishing rapidity, the provision for its spiritual welfare has been all but stationary. There is at the present moment nn urgent demand for at least four additional Presbyterian ministers. At the recent meeting of Presbytery, I brought our wants before their notice, and a plan for remedying them, which' was sanctioned. This plan consists in raising a fund ia Southland for paying the passages of additional ministers for Southland, to be landed at the Bluff, and to officiate in the first instance in our vacancies. I have been authorised to write home for three or four additional ministers. I believe suitable men will readily be procured from the various Presbyterian Churches; but it is indispensably necessary"' f hat we raise funds to bring them to our-. shores. Tuis is the reason for my present appeal. ■ The harvest truly is great and ever increasing ; let all who love the Lord Jesus, and the souls of men, contribute as God hath prospered them, and the work will be done at once. j Mr Geisow haskindly consent ed to act as General Treasurer. District t_ ollectors will be appointed, a nd no sums will be recorded but those that are _aid to the Treasurer. ANDREW H. SIOBO.
