NOW being erected in Invercargill, situated ir Dee-streep, aboufc midway between fche Government Offices and the Prince of Wales HQtel, same side, a handsome building with a frontage of 48 feefc, by a depth of 74 feefc. The front elevation , presents a facade of -cast-iron, the prominent ' feature of which, is a recessed portico; formed of arches borne *on fluted columns, wifch Corinthian capitals and flanked on each 6ide with towers, the whole forming.a most elegant and substantial structure. The proprietor is willing to treat for the sale or lease of tho whole building (witli the reservation of a suit of offices), or he will subdivide the property as follows, and let at current rates : — GROUND FLOOR, A suit of offices on each side of the buiding, centre a large Auction Room or Exchange, with an arched entranco, twelve feet wide. Royal Oak is by the celebrated imported horse, Tasman (which was considered by competent judges to be the perfection of horseflesh), dam imported same time, and for which the sum of £300 was paid in Scotland . Royal Oak is now six years old ; rich dapper brown, perfectly sound, of sweet temper, and a sure foal getter. He bas gained nine first prizes in Victoria, certificates of which may be seen with the owner. It is intended to travel tbo above horse to Invercargill and Wallaeetown at statod intervals, which will appear in a future advertisement, ancl as he will be limited to a certain number of an early application is requested. TIIE attention of Stockowners, Auctioneers, and Agents is called to clause 9 of tho Cattle Branding Ordinance, passed by the Provincial Council °of Southland, 29th October, 1862, and which came into operation on 26th May, 1803 : — "CATTLV. BRANDING ORDINANCE. " Clause 9. Every person who shall sell any " cattle in the said Province, being tbe owner of " such cattle or the agent of such owner, shall, " within twenty-one days after such sale, cause " the same, together with the brands (if any) '•' of such cattle, to be registered with the said Re- " gistrar of Brands."
