[CIRCULAR.] HA. GILLER, informs the. Public of South- . land that, on the 19th instant, he will have relinquished a portion of his official duties, nnd will then resume his former businessof AUCTIONEER, APPRAISER. ACCOUNTANT, ' HOUSE, ESTATE, and COMMISSION AGENT. He makes this announcement from a conviction that «n opening pi esents itself, whereby he can, from his experience in each branch of the abovenamed businesses, nnd his knowledge of commercial matters generally, acquired both, in the home country and four years' residence in and near Invercargill, offer his friends, and those of the public who may confer on him their support, a first-rate medium for the advantageous disposal (either by public sale or private treaty) of any property intrusted to him for that purpose. The influential connection he has had the privilege of forming, during his colonial expel ienco, together with his position as Clerk of the Provincial Council (which office he still holds), and the evidence of a testimonial as to the confidence reposed in him by the Provincial Government, will, he trusts be a sufficient guarantee of his integrity and business qualifications, and insure to his patrons the conduct of all transactions the}' may confide to him on a strictly and uniformly respectable basis. This principle of business is especially submitted to the notice of persons non-resident (but having property)in this Province, as calculated to initiate and sustain that g«od faith which should exist between principal and agent. Pending the erection of more commodious premises, he is about to open a temporary Office and Sale Yard in the rear of the Bank of J^ew Zealand, with an entrance from the front of the Albion Hotel, Dee-street, where he will be prepared to receive the commands of his supporters, which will at all times meet his most prompt and careful attention.
