Royal Oak is by the celebrated imported horse, Tasman (which was considered by competent judges to be the perfection of horseflesh), dam imported same time, and for which the sum of 4--3 IX) was paid in Scotland. Royal Oak is now six years old ; rich dapper brown, perfectly sound, of sweet temper, and a sure foal getter. He has gained nine first prizes in Victoria, certificates of which may be seen with the owner. It is intended to travel the above horse to Invercargill and Wallacctiwn at stated intervals, which will appear in a future advertisement, and as ho will be limited to a certain number of mares, an early application is requested.
