The S.S. William Misuiu arrived yesterday aftornoon after a protracted nnri very boisterous passage ot nine days. She left Port Chalmers at 3 p.m. on the Bth instant. Waited at the Reads until 10 p.m. in order to accompany the uew stemwheel steamer, Tuapeka, to the Molyneux. This, under easy steam, was done iv eight hows. Alter parting company a heavy south-west gale sprungup, which forced the Miskin to take shelter under the Nuggets. On Monday morning 1 she was {jot under way, but after proceeding as tar as Long Pointthe gale freshened, and she had to put back. She was forced to lay there with both anchors down till daylight on Bunday morning last, a terrific gale blowing all the time, so that no boats could land for the supply of fresh water. This compelled tin 1 steamer to put in to Wiakawa in the course of Sunday afternoon for a supply, which port she left at daylight yesterday.
